This September is all about Grenache!
Join us, Tuesday 26th September, as we celebrate one of the most underrated red grapes in the world that is just as important as Cabernet Sauvignon.
Grenache, or as it’s known by its Spanish name, Garnacha, is one of the key ingredients in some of the world’s most famous wines. It is considered an unsung hero of the wine world and offers affordable wines from Côtes du Rhône to rare examples, such as masterfully crafted Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Grenache is bold beyond comparison and sings with particular expressiveness in both the Old and the New World.
Symposia invites you to come and taste some illuminating examples of this grape.
To delight your tastebuds, we will be sampling:
Whites
Boekenhoutskloof ‘The Wolftrap’ Grenache Blanc, South Africa
Bodegas Care Garnacha Blanca Nativa, Spain
Reds
M. Chapoutier 'Belleruche', Côtes du Rhône, France
Ramón Bilbao 'Selección Especial' Rioja, Spain
Please join us from 6.30 for a complimentary drink to prepare your palate!
Tasting starts at 7pm.
