Movie Synopsis
In this retelling of the nativity from the animals' point of view, a small but ambitious donkey longs to escape his humdrum life on a village mill and find real purpose. When he ends up accompanying a young couple on their journey to Bethlehem, he unknowingly plays a vital role in protecting them and the newborn king from those who wish to do him harm.
